Export PDF from Case entity

Hello,

I have to export, in pdf format, the case inserted in my customer service.

I try to use the feature present in sales Hub -> Overview -> Export to PDF, but I don't find the case entity in list.

I need to do something to activate case entity for Export to Excel feature?

Thanks in advance

RE: Export PDF from Case entity

    Hi Haig Liu,

First at all, thank you for the response.

    Everything work well.

    Only another question.

The "email" and "Save to Dynamics" function not working.

I think the problem is that case entity is not able to "Export to PDF" feature OOTB.

Is there a work around for this?

    Thanks

    Gianluca

    Hi GianlucaN,

You can activate this button with RibbonWorkbench: Develop 1 Ltd | Ribbon Workbench for Dynamics 365 & Dynamics CRM

It is often used to customize button (Download it and import it to your environment by “import solution”).

1.Create a solution and put only case table in it (No need to select import data).

2.Open solution in RibbonWorkbench and select the button you need to customize (right click and choose “customise command”).

3.Select “InvertResult” to true in first Enable rule. (As it says in the document, "Export to PDF" is limited to several entities and custom entities, and case entities are not included. So by default the button is disable because the rule is evaluated as false. After setting the InvertResult to true, the result is reversed and the button becomes available.)

4.There are four display rules, and you need to fill in two empty ones, as shown below (Keep the steps as simple as possible to ensure that they do not affect the original functionality):

5.Click "Publish" and the button will appear on the form:
