Customise Ribbon - Icons disappearing

Hi

I wonder if someone can help me with an issue I am having with the 'Customise Ribbon'.

I am trying to add new icons (buttons) to the Purchase Order screen for all users, I have taken the following actions:

1. I have gone through the configuration mode for this particular profile,

2. I have made sure that the 'disable personalization' is disabled in the 'Profile' section.

3. I have gone into a PO right clicked and selected 'Customise Ribbon', I have then added the additional fields I want. They appear straight away with no issues.

4. This is the problem.... If I close this particular configuration package and go back into it, the new icons disappear from the ribbon.

What could be the cause of this and how do I fix it?

Thanks!

Has your user the correct profile ID in NAV?

Once you are finished customizing, assign the users to the new role.

    Navigate to: <Company Name>/Departments/Administration/Application Setup/RoleTailored Client/User Personalization

    Double-click User ID

    Select the new Profile ID

Its more to do with updating the ribbon itself rather than a user issue.  For some reason the ribbon will not keep the settings I have set which is adding in two more buttons to the 'Action' tab from the 'Customise Ribbon' list.

I can add them in but as soon as I go out of NAV and then go back in, it removes the icons/buttons.

We have several configuration files which have updated fine, but this particular one will not keep the changes.

You can try deleting 2000000074 - Profile Metadata and restart the configuration.
