How to find a record in the entire database with the least clicks?

Hi! One of my users is asking how to find a specific record in Dynamics.

This user looks at the entire organization's records and with all the constant changes he wants to make sure he gets to the records of interest easily, without having to reach out to each user every time.

I had thought about using the record's GUID code from an excel exported file and using the search box at the top to look for the record using the GUID code. This does not seem to work.

Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

Hi barbieruelas,

Record clicks are not recorded by default in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. However, you can use the Modified On field to find records that have not been recently modified; This will give you the records that are not being clicked.

Maybe you can try to configure Dataverse search:

--Dataverse search delivers fast and comprehensive search results in a single list, sorted by relevance.

--With Dataverse search enabled, a search box is always available at the top of every page in all the model-driven apps in the environment.
