Why can't we delete Free text invoice templates after recurring invoices have been posted using the template?

What's the dependency between the template and posted invoices?  I would think as a matter of housekeeping, we'd be able to delete old templates.

    Hi Frank,

    Functionally, there is a count of number of invoices generated per template/customer relation. That would be, I guess, the only dependency.
