Global Search - Custom entity not available under "Select entities for search" in Administration System Settings

Hi all,

I have a similar issue to the one presented at the following thread:

https://community.dynamics.com/crm/f/117/t/221700

As the title suggests, I am not able to see a custom entity when selecting entities to add to the global search entity pool.

The entity has a quick-find view defined correctly.

We have tried renaming the entity, even re-creating it entirely but to no use.

The option "Can enable sync to external search index", which is duscussed at the attached thread is not present at managed settings for said custom entity (as far as my understanding goes, this is due to this option not being present at v8.1).

    Hi, thanks for the reply!

    These articles are based on a situation in which the entity I am willing to add to global search is available under "Available Entities",

    however, my problem is not adding an entity from the "Available Entities" box to the search, my problem is that my custom entity does not show up at all in the

    "Available Entities" selection box.

    As I wrote in the base post, I tried re-creating the entity, renaming it and creating quick-find forms but none of this has worked so far.
