Can't connect to source database - 2012 R2 upgrade - Cannot copy DATAAREA from source to DEL_DATAAREA

Hello, I am receiving the following error while trying to connect to the source database in the DAX 2012 R2 upgrade:

Cannot copy table DATAAREA from source environment to table DEL_DATAAREA

Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.Column 'DATAPARTITION' does not allow DBNull.Value.

Any ideas on what could cause this and how to fix it?

    This error is usually caused when there is an unmapped company or a company mapped to an invalid partition in the DEL_ReleaseUpdatePartitionsMapping table within the source database. Normally this table gets populated during the first part of the upgrade checklist, if needed you can manually insert rows into this table to make sure there is a 1-1 relationship to your DATAAREA table in the source database.

    Hi Kevin,

    I am also facing same problem but when i am searching DEL_ReleaseUpdatePartitionsMapping  table in the source database it does not exist. So what can i do for that ????

    Hi Kevin,

    I have resolved this issue but as per your given solution source table is DEL_ReleaseUpdatePartitionsMapping  table.  But it does not exist in the source env. . In Source env. table name is DEL_RELEASEUPDATEPARTITIO50067.
