Rental System

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello all. I am pretty new to the Navision development and trying to make a rental system with using standart Navision tables by minimum. I have created the tables and pages for RentItems and Rentors. Some setup tables etc. My idea is to make 3 different orders. 1) For Item Reserving, 2) For item rent 3)For item return. I need info about how can I load info from different tables to a document by only selecting No. of Item, No of Rentor etc.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I would rather suggest that you visa versa use standard NAV as much as possible.

Many poor implementations were caused by development of functionality that has already been made inside standard system, but none knew it already exist. The best approach is that you would involve a functional consultant who could utilize standard system functions as much as possible (even by changing business process sometimes in order to adopt to standard system behavior).

Trust me, this will save lot of customer money and your own efforts in the future.
