Hello -
Our properties routinely run trial balances for their various departments and distribute them on a periodic schedule (generally mid-month and at the end of the month). These are a fairly fixed structure (Posting Accounts, Current Period, Beginning of Prior Month > End of Prior Month or Beginning of Current Month > End of Current Month, filtered by two segments (Department and Main). Each property has some ~80 departments, and while some can be run in sequence, it still results in 20+ trial balance reports needing to be run. We of course do have them setup as templates, but ultimately looking for a method to have them (a) run automatically (b) save PDF to a shared drive location.
Is this possible?
James
Yes, it sounds possible to me but with customization.
A trial balance is a listing of the various
accounting general ledger balancesat the end
of a specific accounting cycle. It is generally
presented in a debit/credit format with debit
balances appearing on the left and credit
balances appearing on the right.

Hi James
You could perhaps create a Macro to run/save the reports.
We do not really have any other means to automate the reports - you'd still have to fire off the Macro, but it could possibly be created to run/save each report so you only have to launch the 1 macro to run all your reports.
Thanks!
Dean
