I've run into an issue when merging accounts. When I merge two accounts due to company acquisitions I would like to maintain the previous account name for our history within the concatenated topic field. This way we can see a history of what a client's name was at the time the opportunity was closed. The issue is that when merged with a new account, the opportunity's topic is overwritten with the new account name and we lose the history.
Is it possible to merge accounts and maintain the previous account name in the project topic for closed opportunities?
