Extreme delay in automatically sending email via hosted forms in a customer journey

I have integrated a marketing form (hosted form) into an external website. I have defined this form as a source in a customer journey. I configured a trigger with a duration of 0 hours. Subsequently, an email is to be sent to the registered form user.

There are extreme time delays here. The e-mail will not be sent immediately but after hours! This makes the whole marketing functionality pointless. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?

Thank you very much,
Daniel

We experience such delays since we started with Dynamics Marketing last year.

The bandwidth for an automated E-Mail send out ranges from 4 hours (December) to 30 Seconds with the new backend in February. Now (April Release) we are back in a random range from 10 min to 3 hours.

We only use Dynamics Landingpages with Dynamics forms on it.

Current example with Dynamics Marketing: A user has registered on 28.04.2019 at 01:36 o'clock via a marketing form. He received the thank you e-mail on 28.04.2019 at 08:55 o'clock. This is a delay of more than 7 hours!

How can we send a direct response by email to new registered online users? Nowadays nobody wants to wait 10 minutes or longer for a reply.

From my point of view the system is not suitable to handle online lead gerneration. Currently, requests from Landing Pages cannot be processed without considerable delay.

    Hi Daniel,

    Thank you for the question.

Could you please create a support ticket for your case?

We would like to investigate why sending a subsequent email (Thank you email) took so long - as normally it should be much faster.

    Best Regards,

    Aga

    Totally agree, Daniel.

Automed Email responders with a time delay of more than 6 hours are a nightmare.

As a solution we created a PHP Network Script and do send the Emails through our own Email Server.

Currently experiencing this as well. I created a simple form. Customer submits form, Email gets sent out. I'm seeing the submissions in our leads, so I know that part is happening. However, there's not been any email sent at all. Not an hour later, not at all. I've tested the email, it's live and it works.

I've test submitted form using quite a few different email addresses and there's not been any activity at all on these. But when I check the leads created by the form, they're there:

Not really sure if there's something I've done wrong or no...

    Hi Tonya,

normally, that should be just right. But unfortunately there are massive time delays.

    Does it work now?

We're seeing significant delays on marketing emails being sent from a customer journey (between 1 hour and 8 hours)!  Are others still experiencing delays?

Same here, tested this to be 55 minutes and that is too long, should be a matter of seconds. Logged a MS Support ticket.

can you check the Timezone which you have selected while sending emails in customer journey?

Are those customers from same time zone or different?

We've had these issues come and go since october last year. At some point it was always within 12 minutes, still too long, but somewhat acceptable and Microsoft said it wasn't going to be faster due to their infrastructure. However, this week the problems came back and we're experiencing a delay of 40 minutes to an hour. Which is way too long when you want somebody to immediately receive an confirmation email.

We have Microsoft Unified support, but till now they have not been able to do anything about this. It's kind of worthelss and their goal is to have it back to 15 minutes delay. Which marketing tool does that? It shouldn't take more than 1 minutes to reply after a form was submitted. Everyday it feels like i'm beta testing something.

Just putting this out there as a reminder to everyone. (Everytime you call Microsoft you get the same response: 'this is the first time we've heard this." Yeah right)
