Hi all,
In my company we work with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017.In Navision 2017 I know that I can create and configure the same profile for several users, without having to configure user by user its user interface (UI).I am creating and configuring a new common profile for several users.
My user is an system administrator and has SUPER permissions in Nav and to enter user interface (UI) configuration mode from the Nav server, I open the cmd command console as a administrator and I’m placed in the directory:
Program Files (x86) \ Microsoft Dynamics NAV \ 100 \ RoleTailored Client
I run the Nav client in configuration mode by typing:
Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client.exe -configure -profile: "PROFILEX"
Then I start to configure the different options of the "Role Center" area adding or removing different options such as sales orders, products, customers, etc.
When I just configured the profile I close Nav in configuration mode, and in the personalization of the user or users In Nav I assign them the new profile.
Finally from a user pc I start session with the data of one of the users to whom I assigned the new role and when I enter, effectively the changes in the new role are applied correctly.
All this worked very well until a few days ago, but currently when I make changes in the "Role Center" area in configuration mode, then it does not apply to users who belong to that role and I do not understand why.
All users belong to the same user group in Nav and have the same permissions. I have removed the new profile from the users and I have reassigned it but the problem persists.
I have also removed the permissions and I have reassigned them but the problem continues.
I do not know what else to do.
Please, could someone help me?
Many thanks.
