Release to Warehouse from Load Planning Workbench

Hello There,

I am trying to release to warehouse from Load planning workbench but no wave or work is created; just the shipment is created and load is posted. I tried to release from sales order - in that instance only shipment is created but not the load. All wave/work/load posting templates data are valid. Any suggestions here? Thank!

Hi,

After creating the Shipment, AX will try to find a Wave Template which has criteria that match the shipment. Should it find a Wave Template in your setup?

AX will only automatically create a new Wave if 'Automate wave creation' is ticked on that Wave template.

Hi Riga,

Could you please provide additional details on the following questions:

1. Have you setup Warehouse management > Setup > Waves > Wave process methods?

2. Have you set anything in the Edit query for the Wave template (Warehouse management > Setup > Waves > Wave templates)?

3. Does your shipment warehouse match to the warehouse on the wave template?

Yes, shipment warehouse matches the wave and also there is no edit query set for wave templates except for shipments. Interesting part is the same item when I tried from different warehouse it works and when compared with two warehouses - all appear similar
