Dynamics Nav Report Page Count

(0) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by 35

Hello,

Am using Dynamics Nav 2016 and have a requirement to get the number of pages a report spans when generated. I've searched the net but can't seem to find a solution to this.

Is there a way to capture this?

Thanks.

May be system use this function(GetData/SetData) to transfer image from NAV client to Report Client.

    Hi Batalov,

This solution has been working so well but I've recently encountered a small problem where if an image is added to the report, the getdata function returns null.

Would you have an idea why this is so?

You need to use AppDomain class in you C\AL and RDLC custom code.

    AppDomainFooter.png

In Footer (or Header) in Textbox set expression.

and in OnPostReport add code to get saved data

You can define function in RDLC report to set data (any type) and get this data for example in OnPostReport() trigger in report.

Are you still interested in how?

    Hi

I believe Manish suggested you to use Control the Total Number of records per page and get the Page count using Record count(not the RDLC), the below link will help you.

    Hi Manish,

How would I then populate the Journal lines after performing calculations in RDLC code?
