Filter Option set depending upon the another option set

I am using Dynamics 365 V9 online instance. I would like to know how to filter option set depending upon another option set value. I have used SDK.DependentOptionSet and XML for filtering.  Now, Dynamics 365 V9 deprecated SDK libraries. Is there any other way can do filtering in D365 V9 instance.

In the below link, they have mentioned about "Dependent option set generator".  Is it supported way.

    I think what she means is if option A is selected, then the dependent option set shows multiple values like 1, 2 or 3

    Hi Saratha,
    If you mean you want set if optionA="A"or"B"or"C" and then optionB="1", it is also possible with Business Rules.
    You just need to set your filter conditions and apply them. For example, let's follow this logic:
    If optionA="A"
       then optionB="1";
    If optionA="B"
       then optionB="1";
    If optionA="C"
       then optionB="1";
    This logic could also be understood in this way: if optionA="A","B"or"C", then optionB="1".
    You could match any condition in Business rules.

    Just like this screenshot.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi Leo,

    Thanks for the response.  According to your solution, we can set only one default value for another option set. But I would like to filter multiple values in the another option set.

    Hi Saratha,

    This is a third party solution release by Guido Preite, one of the long time Microsoft Dynamics 365 MVPs.

    Good day partner,

    You could use Business Rules to achieve this requirement without coding.

    For example, I have two option set fields "OptionA" and "OptionB", When I choose "A" in "OptionA", I want "OptionB" set value to "1".

    Hi Saratha,

    You can achieve this with a JavaScript function that runs when the values on the option set fields change. The JavaScript function will need to check the value of the second option set field and filter the first option set field accordingly.

    Hi Aric,

    I am not using third party solution in my customization.  Because during Microsoft Dynamics 365 upgrading time, some of the third party solution won't support Dynamics 365 features. So I would like to know that this is third party solution or Microsoft released it.

    It seems like the dependent option set solution (in your link) has been updated to v9. Make sure that you download the managed solution for v9.

    It is hard to know what Microsoft has in store for us in regards to having an OOB solution for this, but I think this is a great solution in the meantime.

    Also, this works for Multiselect Optionsets as well.

    Hope this helps.
