Business Central Dynamics Sales customer syncs all relationship types

Hi,

I'm having a problem syncing customers from Dynamics Sales to Business Central. The problem is this:

When I want to make a new customer account in Business Central from an account in Dynamics Sales, I click on the (not coupled) accountname and then on 'Make in Business Central'. However, for some reason when I do this BC also makes customeraccounts in BC for accounts that are labeled as 'Vendor', 'Prospect' and even 'Inactive' accounts in Dynamics Sales. This would normally mean that a filter would not be correct in the table mapping. However, my filter for the CUSTOMER integration table is set on the normal settings 'Relationship Type: Customer', 'Status: Active', and the id of my company in Sales.

I can not see what causes this problem, as all filters seem to have the correct settings to only filter the Active accounts with relationship type Customer. Does anyone know how to solve this, as it is causes me a lot of work and trouble to remove the 'wrong' customer accounts all the time.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

    Hi

I believe you may encounter active bug actually related to this scenario:

    Set up connection to CDS

    Run initial full synchronization

In CDS, create some new accounts of various "Relationship Type" (some customers, vendors and prospects)

In Business Central, uncheck "Synch. Only Coupled Records" on CUSTOMER mapping, and run full synchronization

    Result:

It will pick up all new accounts (customers, vendors and prospects) and make them as Business Central customers.

    Integration Table Filter is ignored.

It is under investigation and will be corrected

    Program manager is on it:

    I hope this is helpful

Thank you, I think this is indeed the answer to my question.

Do you perhaps have any idea on when this bug is expected to be fixed?

    Hi

It seems on going, not sure if deployed to all, but I can see deployment started. If you still have  the issue, feel free to raise a support ticket, adding my name (jerome LEFEVRE) in it, and tenant id if saas and I will handle it.

    Hope this is helpful
