Comparison of Project Operations to AX/D365 Project Accounting

Is there a document or article that shows the differences in using Project Operations as a standalone vs. Using it within Dynamics 365?  I am also confused by the actual development or coding of the new Project Operations and ongoing usage by our customers, We have customers that use Project Management in AX and/or D365FO extensively.  We have also completed customization of the PMA module in AX and D365.  Do we have to install Project Operations and turn off PMA?  Are they really the same solution but Project Ops has more reporting?  Who can help me with this?

I have searched on this topic to no avail across the Internet.

    Hi Nancy, I believe that you will be able to have PMA for some and ProjOps for other legal entities in F&O:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../resource-configure-integration-per-legal-entity
