I did some tests with the Workflow timesheet. I am using the workflow review timesheet by calling the workflow review line timesheet.
I am trying the workflow for intercompagny. So for one company A in the Workflow review line timesheet I have setup to look at the hierarchy of the resource.
And the other one company B the workflow review line timesheet is setup to send the timesheet to the Project manager.
It seems that when we create a timesheet in company A for line 1 a project in company A and line 2 a project in company B the workflow will take the rules to send to validation the timesheet to the hierarchy so the line B won't be sent for approval to the project manager in the company B.
I was thinking of setuping a rule "if project ID is in entity of the company B then sent for approval to project manager" but i am wondering if there is a easier way.
