Hi There, I have been working with inspections for about three years. I haven't seen any updates regarding the upgrade that will fix some problems for array data from the fields and the capabilities to integrate additional data on the inspection forms from data catalogues or products. Has someone heard anything? I'm happy to help Microsoft with these improvements and have them as part of out-of-the-box version that could help anyone using MSDFS for their operations.
No answer for you, but just replying and adding my 2 cents that I would also love to see some enhancements around the inspection feature. It feels like it has a lot of potential, but the backend portion and issues like this prevent it from being a game-changer for my clients.
I will also add giving the ability to add a logo or some sort of branding to the ODF of the inspection that is generated, or allow for it to be generated through a process instead of on the user's machine so it can be automated after Work Order completion.
I would encourage you to submit an idea and vote on others through the Microsoft channel at the below link. I think that is a better avenue to get the attention of the product team.
