Intercompany Transaction Setup?

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hey all! I'm setting up a 2017 NAV customer install and it looks like I have absolutely no options for Intercompany. No IC menus, no setup on the Company Information > Communication tab. The items are simply not there. Does anyone know what's required to get these items installed / visible? I'm sure I'm missing something very basic, but wanted to post here in case there's something a little more unconventional that I'm missing.

Cheers!

Matt

Thank you so much fro explaining this to me. I'm extremely thankful. This is the first time I've done a NAV install myself without a VAR involved so I appreciate it.

Even though you have SUPER permissions it does not mean you will have access to the object designer, your license should have Application Builder/Solution Granule.

Download the .pdf to see the "Capability Guide for NAV 2017".

I will have the client ask their VAR. Any idea where Microsoft has documented this?

Did you buy the "Extended Pack"? Manufacturing and InterCompany are only found in the "Extended Pack"

Interestingly...even though I have SUPER user permissions, I don’t have access to Tools > Object Designer... very odd

it could be license issue , which did not include Inter Company module. Can you  try to run any table from object designer under  range  410 to 442 whether any issue .
