We are in the middle of a GP upgrade from GP2013 to GP2018 18.5, but while we do that, we need to start installing SQL Server 2014 and GP 2016 and, from there, start upgrading the DB and GP, respectively. We aim to have GP 18.5 and SQL 2022 at the end in a server with Windows 2022.
Have any of you done it in the past? have you had any issues installing GP 2016 on Windows 2022, I know it is not supported by Microsoft, but considering it will be a transition while we reach our goal, I would like to know if we will have any installation issues doing that.
I am not a fan of installing in unsupported environments. However, for GP 2016 interim upgrades, I have had good luck with Windows 2019 (but have not attempted with Windows 2022).
