Hi Mark,
Warehouse Zone is 1st bifurcation of physical warehouse.
Basically you can bifurcation entire warehouse into multiple zone and each Zone will have multiple locations.
So I would say Warehouse (Parent) to Zone (child) is one to many relationships.
And Zone (parent) to location (child) is also one to many relationship.
This bifurcation will help you to design warehouse layout in proper way.

Zones are as the physical grouping of locations within a warehouse.
Locations allow you to track where the on-hand inventory is stored and picked in a warehouse.
