Lead Opportunity 1:N Relationships

Hi everyone,

I've got some problem with a setting in my CRM. 2 months ago was published the mapping in 1:N relationships between subject-topic (Lead) to name Opp. Number.(Opportunity).

If the Opp. number is not blank the Autonumber doesn't work (my partner told me if this field is not blank the Autonumber can't assign the number).

Is it a customization from Microsoft? I've deleted in all my environment this setting but it continue to appear....

Thanks for your help.

I have the same question (0)

    Autonumber?
Did you change the name column on the opportunity entity to the 'Autonumber' type?
1.my partner told me if this field is not blank the Autonumber can't assign the number
    Yes.
This column shouldn't be populate other value when you create new records, then 'autonumber' feature will be work.
If you have pre-populated value in this column before creating the new record, 'autonumber' feature won't be work.
    It is by-design.

    2. I've deleted in all my environment this setting but it continue to appear....
Do you mean delete this mapping?
Is it deleted and still auto-populates the value from Lead?
Confirmation from this relationship? Check if there are any other Lead to opportunity relationships?
Don't forget to save and publish all.

    Hi Leah Ju,

    Thanks for your reply.

    Autonumber?
On our instance we have a customization that assign a number (whole number) when you create a new Opportunity. That's a customization managed by our Microsoft partner. I never change.

    1. okay.
    2. Yes, I mean this mapping in all my environments.
Is it deleted and still auto-populates the value from Lead? Yes, it is. I can't understand if it's a solution from Microsoft or where it is to unable this behavior.
Confirmation from this relationship? Yes, 1:N relationship between these enitities.
Check if there are any other Lead to opportunity relationships? Just this.

    - Don't forget to save and publish all.
I published the only entity lead. Is it wrong?
