When choosing "Existing company" on Lead, the "new company" field fills out with same name

Hi,

I have an issue on the Lead entity, when i choose a Existing Account, the New Company field autopopulates with the name of the existing. I have some business rules that will show fields when Lead = New company contains data, which it now disturbs. Any idea why the field is populated with the same as the existing account, can't find anything exactly that maps this from Existing account to New Account.

Hi Denzo,

I didn't find New Company field for lead entity while only found OOB Company field, and it didn't has such behavior.

Would it be a customized field by yourself?

If so, you could open form editor for your lead form and check whether there was any custom js file to control autopopulating.
