Hi All,

I'm using the Procurement category to make a purchase. The Unit price field is greyed-out. What caused it?

Can a category item be blocked from an intercompany transaction? Could someone suggest me where to look? Thanks so much!

Hello Kim,

Can you check your intercompany mappings and parameter setups? There is a specific parameter available that defines whether or not price edits are allowed. What has been setup in your case?

Hi Kim,

Editing prices on purchase orders are managed in intercompany setups as Ludwig explained.

Other users will correct me if I'm wrong but, you can't buy/sell categories through intercompany orders.

Application should throw you an error when you select only a category for an intercompany order line (when you try to save the line)

It also forces item numbers to be filled when generating intercompany purchase/sales agreements.

Hi Ludwig,

Thank you for responding to me on Sunday.

Yes, I just checked these 3 tabs in yellow in the two legal entities which involve in this intercompany transaction. The Allow price edit boxes are not checked.

Thanks, Fatih, for your feedback. You may be right. I tried to proceed without price to see what error else will I get. I got, "Item is blocked from intercompany use". There is no item to look into. So I looked into the category, but there is not much set up in category. I didn't see any blocking configuration within the category.

Hi All,

Now the Unit Price is enable. I can key in the value in Unit price field. Now I have another error, "Item is blocked from Intercompany use" :-)
