Great Plains Generated Packing List

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi Everyone,

Is it possible to generate a packing list from Great Plains with the fields like weight, dimension, volume of an item to be input by user?

Thanks.

that report would be an excellent place to start.

You may want to consider the word templates since you are coming out of SOP, or the print from GP with Crystal that Victoria's company (among others) has available.

Thanks Ian! In Invoice-Transaction Entry, print options, packing slips, is this the report for packing list?

inventory management has a field that holds the shipping weight of an item.  Aside from that you would need an extender of some sort.

Typically when we have a request like this, the additional information like weight, dimension, volume, etc. is added on an Extender window and the Packing List is created using Crystal Reports or SSRS.
