Reopen NAV Views

NAV 2017 v10.0 Windows 10P

I have multiple views saved that I use constantly, but there are a core set of views and windows I use multiple times on a daily basis. Is there a way to open views when NAV starts so I don't have to go through and open each view every time I start NAV?

You can subscribe to LogInStart Event in the Codeunit 40 to open different pages, and apply filters to the record before opening the page. But I don't think you can do that with Saved Views. Anyhow it is a customization and it will add time to load your application.

Hi jcgre3n,

Copy all links of your saved views to a batch file. Then, after opened NAV, run the batch file.

I'm not very familiar with coding and bat files. When I try to run the page link I just get dynamicnav not recognized. Could you expand on your answer a bit more and maybe offer some coding help?

I would recommend you to contact your partner as it requires customization to your NAV if you want to use the event technique or
as Khoa suggested create a text file and copy all your links of your views and save them as .bat and then run that file.
