Good day,

I am experiencing an issue with the FA Reclassification Journal. After clicking on "Reclassify," the system indicates that everything is correct; however, when I navigate to the FA G/L Journals, there are no lines related to this reclassification.

These are the settings of depreciation book:

And this is the FA Journl setup:

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,
After Reclassify, Business Central should create the reclassification lines in the Fixed Asset G/L Journal using the journal template/batch defined in FA Journal Setup for that depreciation book. In your screenshot, because G/L Integration - Acquisition Cost and G/L Integration - Depreciation are enabled, make sure you are checking the FA G/L Journal under the mapped Gen. Journal Template = GENERAL and Gen. Journal Batch = GENERICO, not another batch or only the FA Journal batch. Also confirm the User ID in FA Journal Setup matches the user running the process, both old/new fixed assets have the same depreciation book assigned, and the original FA actually has posted acquisition/depreciation entries to reclassify; otherwise nothing useful will be created.

    Hi,

Thank you for your reply. The issue was that I was looking for the lines in the Fixed Asset G/L Journal, but they were actually in the General Journal. You’ve been very helpful.
