Hi,

Is the URL of environment is unique? I look at the URL for the environments environmentName.sandbox.operations.dynamics.com

Environment Name needs to be globally unique for all the D365FO customers or only unique within the customer tenant? Can customer A and customer B having the same environment URL (e.g. UAT.sandbox.operations.dynamics.com)?

The environment ID must be globally unique. The environments exist in public Internet so every address must be unique - otherwise it would not be possible for users to login to the system that they want to.

Hi Yuji,

If on cloud, it should be unique overall. However if you notice on the VHD's, the environment URL is same.

Hi Yuji,

I will not repeat the replies from the other volunteers. They are correct. However, you can use https://home.dynamics.com as common URL and pin environments per customer tenant.
