EP Development: Attribute in code not recognized (am I missing a reference?)

Hello,

I am running into an error in my code that seems pretty elementary...leads me to believe I am missing a reference or something.  Here is a screen:

Here is the error text:

Message 2 Validation (XHTML 1.0 Transitional): Attribute 'AxCtrlType' is not a valid attribute of element 'span'. C:\Projects\WessexMarketplace\WessexMarketplace\Marketplace\WessexMarketplace\WessexMarketplace\PurchReqCreate.ascx 48 47 WessexMarketplace.

Any ideas?  Thank you very much for your time and attention.

    How did you create this project that you used to open the .ascx file? You should be using the File -> New Project -> Microsoft Dynamics AX -> EP Web Application template you have in Visual Studio 2010. This would get you all the references you need.

    Turns out the attribute errors are actually warnings and I have been told the message is normal. Still compiles and runs fine.
