Invoice discount and line discount

Hi All

Please assist, my client wants to have invoice discount and line discount at the same time in one invoice, when we do that the totals get discounted twice, Can I ask if there is a way to make this possible without calculating the discount twice?

    Hi,

    Yes you can use both discount at the same time.

    Invoice discount calculate on the total value of Invoice

    Line Discount calculate line wise, actually decrease Line Amount when enter value in "Line Discount Amount" or "Line Discount %"

    No But once the discount is captured on the lines, the invoice discount calculate the amount thats already been discounted on the lines, which double the entry

    What would you have the invoice discount do?

    Invoice discount must use the line amount that has been discounted as that is the current amount of the line(s).

    If you are wanting the invoice discount to be based on the original amount of the line(s) before discount, you will need a customization.
