I had send mails using the mail merge feature from advance find in Dynamics 365 CE.
Where could I track the mails as they are not appearing in the activities section.
And would also like to know how to use mail merge feature for Marketing lists and campaigns in dynamics 365 CRM
Mailmerge has been deprecated: docs.microsoft.com/.../important-changes-coming I would recommend using server-side document generation using Word templates dynamics 365. You can use a a flow to generate multiple docs:

I tried the mail merge feature with the E3 lisence for outlook , which I had configured in the instance. So can I track the mails send in the activities section in dynamics 365 CRM Instance.

Thank you for your query.
Did you send the emails through outlook app and tracked it? If you do not track these, won't show in Dynamics 365.
To use mal merge with Campaigns:
