Spend analysis reports start and end date

Posted on by 40

Hi all,

In procurement and sourcing modules there are some spend analysis reports. In some of them we have start date and final date. By clicking in the combo boxes, I can see only past periods for example January/2013. How can I add actual periods for these reports purpose?

Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

    Good morning Richardson,

As Andre mentioned, this is a cube based report.

If you miss some periods or what is called cube dimension, then you need to get a BI expert to make those changes for you and process the cube.

Once that is done, you should see all periods available for selection in the report.

Yet, once you have the cube up to date you might want to analyze the data directly e.g. in Excel.

That's more flexible in my opinion and gives you access to additional data that you cannot access through this standard report.

I would recommend talking to your BI / system admin guys about this.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Richardson,

The data on this report is coming from a cube. Make sure the processing/updating of the cubes is enabled in your environment. The start dates are also coming from the cube.
