Hi to All...!!

In Manufacturing Company, we have tree type of BOM's,

At the time of creating the FG Production Orders, I have created the All BOM's as Pegged supply and Vendor and what ever it's, If I Estimate the Production Order, based on BOM, Creating the 250+ Production Orders,

It's can't manageable, any one please give me the Solution for Reducing the Production Orders.

    Hi Chandra,

May I know why all the BOM's are created as "Pegged Supply"?

Ideally Lines to be mapped as Pegged supply for the Make to order component, where the sub assemblies are produced for the Parent item production order

For pegged supply lines, child production orders are auto created on parent production order estimation - Automatic marking and reservations apply to these linked orders..

If its not a Make to order component change the Pegged supply to Item, this would only create single parent production order..

    Regards,

    Girish

Do you have 250+ BOM lines? Then it will create it like this. Maybe not have pegged supply (that is 1:1 orders),  but use "Item" and then have master planning create your sub orders. They will group by the requirements. Remember to set default order settings to be production.

For the Vendor type order lines it will have 1:1 for each production order. That is ONLY used when you have a sub contracting step in your production route. If it is purchased goods that is consumed in production, you can use item type there as well and let master planning create your orders.
