What is the purpose of the Primary Pay Code check box on the Employee Pay Code Maintenance screen?

This field is available when you have HR installed. The Primary Pay Code checkbox in Employee Maintenance is used to determine the employee's estimated annual salary. You will want to mark it for their main pay code like Salary or Hourly. If you notice that the Estimated Annual Salary field is blank on the Life Insurance Enrollment window, not having the Primary Pay Code box is likely the cause.
