Is it possible to build a resume scanning feature for talent

    Hi Santosh,

    Everything is possible;)

    You can't build it in Talent, but you can connect it to Talent. I haven't tried it, but could you perhaps create a PowerApp which uses flow to push the resumes to Talent and create the applicant based on Microsoft cognitive services: azure.microsoft.com/.../cognitive-services

    Thanks Malin,

    The cognitive services is great and it gives me an option to read the text on any scanned application. What i really need is to have the text from any format( Word, pdf, or image ) extracted and stored as text so that it is available for text search 

    Any help would be appreciated. I am also not able to get the powerapp embedded in the Talent interface of the candidate. I only seems to be available in the Core HR forms, any ideas ?

    I don't think you'll be able to do that in an very easy way.. My first thought is to use flow to sendt the resumes to a SharePoint-site and use the text search in SharePoint. I don't think I fully understand the scope of the situation. Your candidate sends in a resume and the recruiter want's to do a text search?

    Or maybe this new feature will solve everything for you: docs.microsoft.com/.../search-enhancements ?
