Print management email subject line

Hi. Is there any setups in AX2012 R2 that enable variable information in the subject line of an email generated by print management?   Example, picking lists get emailed to our despatch area and they have requested that the picking route and customer name be the email subject line or message body.

Since the subject is part of the Print management setup, it seems like you could implement some type of token replacement, where certain tokens are replaced with specific field values of the caller record.

I suggest the class SRSReportRun method printReportToEmail is probably the best place to do it.

Did you figure out some way to achieve this? Please let me know.

you can customized the controller class to overwrite the email subject line. Please refer to class SRSPrintDestinationSetting, email subject is part of a container.

In your case, you can overwrite the wmsPickingList_orderPickController.runPrintMgmt() method. and pass the value of the email subject.
