Hi ma'am/sir:

Good day! Can someone help me with my problem? I created a new Business Process Flow for "Lead-to-Opportunity Sales Process".

In my first try, after qualifying the Lead, the BPF for Opportunity did not show up, (please see the first two pictures)

In my second try, doing the same process, the BPF for opportunity will now show up. (Please see the 3rd and 4th pictures)

Can someone help me solve this problem? Big thanks everyone!

All the best,

JeromeE

Is it happening for every lead?

    OR

Is it happening for every BPF?

Can you deactivate and reactivate the BPF once more.

Clear the browser cache and try once more

Please confirm if you are able to reproduce

    Hi Jerome,

For a Lead to Opportunity Biz Process Flow, the flow should show up on the lead. in the screenshot that you have shared the lead record does not have an active BPF. A couple of things you might want to check to see if that resolves the issue

    1. Set the custom BPF that you created at the top of all the other BPF for that entity as shown in the screenshot below using the Order Process Flow button in the ribbon bar.

    pastedimage1578285624043v1.png

This will ensure that all new leads created would have this BPF assigned to them.

    2. BPF are security controlled. Make sure you assign privileges to all security roles to be able to view this BPF on the record as can be seen below. Note for every BPF that you create, there would be an entity that is created in the background with the same name. Assign privileges in the security role for this entity for users to view this BPF on the record.

Hope this helps resolve the issue. Do update if this works.

    Hi sir,

It only happens in Lead-to-Opportunity Sales Process. I created a New Process and activated it, the default process has just been deactivated. And everyday, in my first try, after qualifying the Lead, the stages (BPF) didn't show, but on the second try, the stages comes out. How is it possible?

    Thank you,

    JeromeE

    Hi Jerome,

Try to clear the browser cache, also try in many browsers.

Check security role. I know you can see it in 2nd try.

Login with another user and check.

    Thank

    Hi JeromeE

Go to settings>>processes>>Business process flow>>open your BPF (the one you created for leads and opportunities)

Then, refer to the first screenshot from @Roohi, order your BPF to be the first one and then click update.

    Now go to sales>>leads>>new

If you still don't see your BPF on the new lead form, click on the 'process' button on lead and select your process and then continue with your qualification process. it should work.

As per my understanding, this is happening because you have deactivated the default BPF and not changed the order so the default BPF is in archived state and hence you see nothing on your lead forms.

Also on your 4th screenshot of opportunity, it's not your BPF but the Project service BPF.

    Hi sir,

So far it worked, will check its behavior for a few days.

    Thank you,
