Now that Northern Ireland is part of the EU and has another ISO code (XI) than GBR (GB), we need to set up a Country/region for it in D365. Does anyone know if there will be an update from MS handling this or can we set it up our selves? I have not found any standard three digit country code for Northern Ireland.
Linda Lindman hi Linda!
I have the same issue with Northern Ireland customers.
I read this topic and enabled the feature "Determine Country/region properties based on Country/region and State pair".
Then made following setup:
But when I generate an invoice for the NI customer, it still has a list code "Not included", and not "EU trade" which we need. So it won't be taken to EU Sales List.
Do you have an idea, why it has "Not included" list code? do I miss some setup?
Thank you!
Hi Linda,
Microsoft has a hotfix for Brexit which adds a possibility to give a different Country/region -type for the State (Northern Ireland) but it is not checking the VAT ID compliance. After the hotfix it is required to Enable the feature in Feature management: "Determine Country/region properties based on Country/region and State pair". This also affects to EU sales list reports and files so that correct ISO code is populated.
Hi,
From where this needs to be changed?
As far I am aware there is no in built setup by MS which states to have added as EU for country.
You can always setup from foreign trade parameters.
