Technical error when processing SII (Spain)

Hello,

I am trying to run SII process and on the last step 'import response' I receive technical error - "An error occurred while running action 'ImportResponse' for the message". Message status is updated from Expedido to ErTecnico_Importar.

SII.jpg

XML file is successfully sent to and received from the Tax agency, but message items are not updated with the response received.

Can you please advise what might be the reason?

Many thanks

    Hi Nino,

I also faced the same issue and I have got the solution for this after debugging the standard ER objects.

In Electronic Reporting under "Electronic Messages Framework Model" we have following two configurations.

    • ES SII import model mapping
    • MTD VAT model mapping

But for both of them "Default For model mapping" is set to "Yes" which is the reason for the technical error in import process.

We should have  "ES SII import model mapping" default for model mapping to Yes and "MTD VAT model mapping" should set to "No".

Then we can get the message status as Correct in the Electronic messaging items.

    It worked for me.

Please check in your case as well.

    • Thanks!!

    Hi Nina,

Seems MTD VAT Model mapping is required in UK Tax reporting. Please check with the respective stake holders before charging the default model  mapping.

I am also checking for the alternate solution. Will post if I find anything.

    Hi Nina,

I have done the following changes and now I am able to process the invoices without any error.

1)The reason for the error is to have the multiple models with Default for model mapping set to "Yes" under the "Electronic Messages framework model".
Here we have "ES SII import model mapping" Default for model mapping set to "Yes" and if any other models also set to "Yes" then we will get model conflict.

2)To avoid this model conflict follow the below steps.

    • Create a new configuration under  "ES SII import model mapping"

    pastedimage1624268011749v1.png

    • Do not give configuration provider as Microsoft. Give your own configuration provider.
    • After creating configuration you need to add the ISO Country Region codes as shown below.

    • pastedimage1624268220594v2.png
    • Save the changes and change the  Version Status to Completed.
    • Set the Default for model mappings accordingly. Set it to No to the base configuration and set it to YES for the newly created configuration.pastedimage1624268380659v3.png

    pastedimage1624268474954v4.png

    • Now we can process the invoices even though if we have other models Default for model mapping Set to Yes in the  "ES SII import model mapping".

    Hi,

I am currently setting up the SII connection and I have the same problem as you.

I have done your Sravanthi Chikotee configuration and I still have the same error message.

Did you do any special settings?

There are a couple of things you have to do after the ER configurations are imported.

    Thanks Sravanthi,

As you have mentioned, reason behind the issue was conflict between Spain SII and UK MTD ER configurations.

Actually I had communication with MS, and technician has helped me to makes following changes which solved an error.

    1. We didn't add any derived configuration

    2. "Default for model mapping" should be activated for "ES SII import model mapping" & "SII model mapping" and should be deactivated for "SII Import Format (ES)"

    3. "Default for model mapping" should be activated for "MTD VAT importing model mapping (UK)" and should be deactivated for "MTD VAT model mapping"

    4. For Spain LE, Under Tax/Setup/Electronic messages/Message processing actions - for ImportResponse we chose Model mapping = "ES SII importing model mapping"

After these steps for Spain, responses were imported without an error. And processes for UK worked fine for our customer.
