Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Plan IUR for Partners vs Dynamics 365 Partner Sandbox - Sales, Field Service and Customer Service

Hi all!

As part of the new Partner status for 23/24 years, we received a new Dynamics 365 Partner Sandbox - Sales, Field Service and Customer Service subscription to replace the previous Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Plan IUR for Partners that we had been using for several years before.

Questions:

  • What to do with the data in the previous subscription, is there a procedure for migrating data between these subscriptions, since these are completely different plans?
  • In the previous subscription, we enabled the sections Customer Voice and Marketing, will they be available in the new subscription?
  • Could the solution be to replace the subscription at the request of Microsoft? Has anyone in the community had any cases of changing subscriptions?

Regards.

RE: Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Plan IUR for Partners vs Dynamics 365 Partner Sandbox - Sales, Field Service and Customer Service

Congratulations on receiving the new Dynamics 365 Partner Sandbox subscription!

    To answer your questions:

    1. You can export your data from the previous subscription and import it into the new subscription. The method for doing this will depend on the specific data you want to migrate. For example, you can use the Data Export Service to export data from Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement to Azure data services, and then import that data into Dynamics 365 Sales, Field Service, and Customer Service. Alternatively, you can use third-party migration tools or services to assist with the migration.

    2. The Customer Voice and Marketing sections may or may not be available in the new subscription, depending on the specific features and licenses included in your new subscription. You should check with Microsoft to confirm whether these features are included and how to access them.

    3. It may be possible to request a subscription change from Microsoft, but this will depend on their policies and your specific circumstances. It's worth reaching out to your Microsoft Partner Account Manager or Support contact to discuss your options.

Overall, migrating to a new subscription can be complex, and it's important to plan and execute the migration carefully to avoid data loss or other issues. It's recommended to work with a qualified Dynamics 365 consultant or partner to assist with the migration and ensure a smooth transition.

    Hi,

Customer Voice is available but the Marketing not.

Check more details about subscription in following link.
