Issue Promissory notes to a ledger Account

Dear All, I need to find a way to issue promissory notes payable to a specific ledger account not to a vendor, It didn't work through the " Draw PN" transaction so I have tried the same from the redraw promissory notes & select a ledger account instead of vendor and it posts normally but couldn't trace the promissory note itself and its status updates in the PN Reports.

You helps will be Highly Appreciated,

Hi,

Have you tested resp. is it an option for you to setup a dummy vendor account for that purpose?

Hi Ludwig,

No I m trying to seek another option than to define a dummy vendor and link it to the required account , I need to Enter the transaction and directly issue the notes payable to the ledger not to a vendor
