Adding a new button to a dialog that opens another form

Hi,

I created a service, contract and controller classes using sysOperationFramework.

I want to add a new button on the dialog that appears. 

This button should open maybe a form and view records in a grid based on a certain query. And when the button is clicked. I should be able to select records in grids and i should be able to click another button after selecting them where it updates a certain flag for records selected.

How can i do that?

Also if i create another button on the dialog for selecting records only without updating anything. How can i reflect those recrods selected in the query range of the dialog?

    You could add a query to the dialog instead of form.

    The code still work in D365FO.

    Hi will wuu,

    I need a button on the dialog that opens a form where i can select records from grid and after selecting them, there should be a button to that does an update.

    I don't want a a query.

    What you should do, is change the design a bit. First start with getting the 'selection' from the user. Use could a temporary table or just a table datasource and form to allow the user to make selection of records in the form.

    If the user has made a selection and clicks on OK, use your code to process the selected records.

    All i want to know is how to add the button on the dialog to open a form that has a grid where i can select mutiple records and there is a button on this form that updates a certain field for all those records.

    This button has nothing to do with the button on the dialog. If i click ok on the dialog it will do a certain logic.

    But i'm intrested in adding a button in the dialog tgat ooens a form that has another button and grid
