Hey guys!

I have a following problem, whenever our client tries to post a document this error log pops up.

They use NAV 2016 and i saw this error being fixed in NAV 2013 R2 cumulative update, so my question exists - Shouldnt NAV 2016 have already included older version update?

In that case yes, I agree with you.  I thought I'd seen a reference to that fix more recently but I am probably mistaken. I would also have expected that to have been in the original release build of NAV 2016.

    Hi, Paul,

We do have permission sets applied to a G/L Account No, but as i spoke with the consultants, they said that those filters doesnt include these specific accounts that they are using  and it still give an error.

Cumulative update for NAV 2013 R3 was released on september 2014 and NAV 2016 was released on October 5, 2015.  So update is not more recent than NAV version...

It depends: Remember we're only just now at the normal end of support for NAV 2013 R2 so it's possible it was in a cumulative update for NAV 2013 R2 which is newer than whichever cumulative update for 2016 that your client has.

Are you certain that the Permission Sets don't include one which actually is filtering the G/L Account No?  I'm sure not very many organisations do so because it can become quite an administrative burden but I've had to do it in my environment so it's possible.
