How are marketing campaign emails sent out?

Hello experts,

I want to send out our first marketing campaign emails to around 10,000 users.

How does D365 send these out? 

Does D365 throttle and only send x amount of emails at a time staggered?

Is there any other settings we need to configure to ensure we don't get blacklisted?

Please advise.

    Hi,

    You can check you quota as described below.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/quota-management .

    Also the CRM will not going to send 10k email at one go, it will execute them in batches .

    Which product are you using? Dynamics 365 Marketing's Marketing Email or the old CRM Campaign Distribute activity - the answer is different for each.

    • Dynamics 365 Marketing's Marketing Email is handled by Microsoft's marketing service and are treated as a bulk mail handler.
    • The old CRM Campaign Distribute activity goes through your email provider (Exchange/ISP) and is more likely to need throttling etc so you don't get done for spam.

    Hello, I am using Dynamics 365 Marketing module in that I am using Marketing campaign for email sent.

    So how can I send the mails. Any specific process for that?
