Please how can I used transfer order under Warehouse --> periodic in AX 2012 to transfer good from one warehouse to another warehouse.

Please I need the steps to achieve this

Hi dapdomma,

Start here and work from the related links;

Creation of a transfer order involves creation of a header record and multiple lines records.

The orders are then shipped and received.

if you simply want to move stock (raw material) from one warehouse to another, why don't you create a stock transfer journal this is much simpler?

What you are looking for in that case is the replenishment feature, which in effect moves item from the Bulk locations to your Picking location. Is that it? If so... Are you using WHS or WMS II functionality?

we use AX 2012 R2, and i am getting the following error from the user when trying to ship order to destination Warehouse ;

"a number sequence has not been set up for the reference transfer order voucher in the area inventory management"

Please what can I do

Goto Inventory management > Setup > Inventory and warehouse management parameters > Number Sequences and select a unique Number Sequence code in Transfer order voucher.
