Get data filled in Plumsail form and create a Lead in Customer Insight - Journey

Hi,

I have a form created in Plumsail form (https://plumsail.com/forms/).

The form has more than 15 fields like First name, last name, contact number, home address, gender, Marital status, Covid vaccinated done (Yes/No) etc.,

Now, my requirement is i want to get these entries from the Plumsail forms from a public facing website and create a Lead entry in Dynamics 365 Customer Insight - Journeys to store those custom values.

Could you let me know the best option to do this?

Hi,

The Plumsail Forms trigger is provided in Power Automate Flow.

You can use this trigger to design a flow that, when a Plumsail Form is submitted, creates a new lead with the values of the fields submitted by the Plumsail Form.

1. In Dataverse connection, you have shown to select the Leads table but where are we defining this Dataverse connection is made to the Lead table in Dynamics 365 Customer Insight - Journeys?

2. Also, I can see Dynamics 365 - Customer Insight connector in Power Automate, can i use this connector to create a Lead in Dynamics 365 - Customer Insight?

3. I am not sure which one to use from the below list like Create item.. to create a Lead in Dynamics 365 - Customer Insight Journey.

According to the official documentation.

This also includes the record data of the lead entity.

With the Dataverse Connector, you can directly create, update, and perform other operations on the data in the Dataverse.

Hi,

You can also try the new form capture to capture your Plumsail form submission and create a new lead. The advantage of this approach is that the Contact Point Consent will be created (to have valid consent for marketing communication).
