Create a custom field in Marketing Form without mapping a existing Contact/Lead Field

Hi,

We tried to create new marketing form for landing and to add a custom field which doesn't exist in the database, for example :

First Name => CRM field

Last Name => CRM field

Email => CRM field

Favorite type of dessert => Not in CRM

We need to build segments using the favorite type of dessert information for some journeys but as it's not a permanent info for a contact/prospect, we don't have such a field in the base.

Any ideas on how to add such type of fields ? if it's not possible, is there any workaround ?

Hi,

The segment is designed as follows.

Displays contacts submitted via Page t25 (Blank) that have a Favorite type of dessert value of Cakes.

This is the contact submitted on this page.

The submitted contacts can be seen in the segment members.

Thank you for answer!

Just want to know how did you create the Favorite type of dessert field and in which entity ? because as you can see in description, this field is a CRM field, and we are finding a way to keep us from creating new field in contact/lead entity.

Hi,

The Favorite type of dessert field is a custom form field that maps neither contact nor lead.

This field is stored in the Marketing form fields entity.

Values submitted using this field are stored in the Marketing field submission entity.
