I have a production order 1000 pcs.
This production order BOM Line have 3 items.
2 pcs a, 1 pcs b and 2 pcs c.
when I release my production order Ax create a work for 1250 pcs c item to pick. 2000 for a item and 1000 and b item.
There is no any work line for 750 c items.
ax pick 750 pcs items pick automatically and inventory status is picked for 750 pcs.
Do you have any idea for reason?

I've debugged work creation process and I found out.
it was about default production input location.
in casse production input location is license plate controlled we encounter this stuation.
I've changed my production input location with non lp controlled location and problem is solved.

One of the reasons for this to happen is when 750 pcs are already on the default input location of resource. If resource does not have a input location then its the resource group and if thats also blank then the default production input location of the warehouse.
If any of the above locations have some left over of the raw material "C" then Dynamics will not create work for it.
If your 750 items are picked from any of the locations which is none of the above then please share more details about the location and its type.
Hard to say why it happens without seeing the data. One more thought that came to mind: do you use work policies? could you check if there is no setup under Warehouse management > Setup > Work > Work policies for work type Raw material and location where you have the stock? If you have this setup in place RM picking work wont be generated as well.

Check which location has the stock. Advance warehouse functionality does not create a warehouse work for RM picking in case if on-hand inventory is available in default production input location (that is a setup on the warehouse or Resource group). Another case when you may not get work created is when you specify all inventory dimensions manually on the production BOM line.

actually it doesn't have to be.
I use advanced warehouse management module. so when I release a production order system have to create work for all bom line. but part of bom lines set to picked automatically. ax shouldn't pick bom lines without work. I need to track my work user performance. so I need works and work lines
