Dynamics Finance Excel Data Connector for Vendor Entity is slow and time consuming

I am working on updating Vendor data in production environment for final data cleansing like payment terms, street etc. I am able to publish single row in 5-10 seconds. However, if I update 5 rows, it takes 3-5 minutes. If I update around 100-400 rows, it takes an hour. Too slow. Any tips.

In Office apps, publish batch size = 100
I have tried to reduce cell refresh limit to 100000

Entity: Vendor2, Vendor3 both are equally slow.

Please suggest.

    Thanks for reply.

    I have got 500 vendors. I tried updating in batch of 100, still it was very slow. Somehow it is only vendor entities which is really slow. I was able to upload Registration Number in Registration entity.

    Hi Ravinder,

    It would be possible to import the file via data management to update the vendor records. That will be slightly quicker. The vendor data entity is having quite some tables linked which will slow down the performance. If you also have additional customizations, then it could be additionally causing some slowness.

    You can create a new vendor entity with only the VendTable and only the fields which needs to be cleansed.

    Hello Ravinder,

    500 vendors is a small number. It sounds strange that an update takes more than an hour.

    Do you have a developer around who could have a look at this issue?

    Alternatively, I would recommend that you open a support ticket with MS.
