How to change the Date format in AX. I am running this application through Citrix Receiver. I tried to change the region settings in windows. But it is not working. Please Assist.

Hi Ram,
The date format is controlled by the region settings. Changing the region settings on your own Windows client will not help for Citrix applications. An Citrix administrator should give access to change the region settings on the Citrix client(s) where the AX client application is hosted.

Thanks for posting here. We have a situation similar to this. We have a single user that uses AX, via Citrix, that has the incorrect date format the same as above. Everyone else in our company sees the date correctly. Not sure how familiar you are with Citrix, but just trying to figure out where to make the regional date settings change in order to help this user.

Hi Brad,
From my experience hosting AX via Citrix, would require to change the regional settings on the same Citrix machine where AX will be started. It will not look at the local regional settings; also not on other Citrix machines. I'm not a Citrix expert to suggest how to provide the regional settings to users on the same machine. This was managed by the IT department usually. Once, when running AX 2009 via Citrix, we had a menu item added for users which opened a shell command to start the regional settings.
